A month already
As I was putting Cole to sleep tonight (and his little hand was wandering down my shirt and trying to grab my sagging skin where my boobs used to be) I realized that it has been one month today since my mastectomy (or the old girls and I parted ways.) What a crazy month it has been...two surgeries, tests, tests and more tests and we are still not finished as I am slowly returning to my normal routine. Today was a "Super Sunday" for Tennasyn and Cole since they got to see both grandmothers as Leonor passed the torch back to my mom for the next round of "Keeping the Dombroski Kids." Luckily, I am able to do so much more than a week ago so hopefully Mom won't feel like she has to do everything and can even maybe get a little rest between games of ring around the rosies. Leonor worked her a@# off while she was here and even steam cleaned our carpet...it looks great (for now...I give it 48 hours until the dogs have returned it to its former glory!) Justin, Andy's little brother, proposed to Jen, his girlfriend, this weekend. We are very excited for them and to add another girl to the Dombroski clan! Today we also had some family photos taken by our friend, Leah Cook. She does an amazing job and we can't wait to see the pictures! We wanted to get some taken while my hair (although really short) was still on my head! Tennasyn led the show as always and we followed her cue...should be interesting!!
