We came to my parents' house Wednesday so that Andy can get somewhat caught up at work. Our wonderful neighbors, Kenda and Scott, are tending to the puppies so Andy can work as late as needed. Wednesday was a long day since we tried to time it to get here in time for Tennasyn's nap, but she was way too excited to see Grampa that after nearly 3 hours of trying to get her to take a nap we surrendered and she won the battle. It was quite funny though. Mom put her in the crib and she kept calling out, "Oh Sassy! Where are you Sassy? Come here Sassy!" It was quite humorous. Then I tried laying in the "big bed" with her so we could both nap, but that didn't work either. Then mom and dad both thought that if they laid in there she would go to sleep, yeah right! Anyway, Wednesday was exhausting!! Yesterday, one of my dear friends Christine came over with her mom and two precious boys, Wesley and Wyatt. We had a great time seeing them and catching up. Today another friend, Julie, is coming over with her three kids. Tennasyn is loving all the visitors. We are heading back to Plano on Sunday since I have my oncology appointment and plastic surgeon appointment on Monday. Depending on when chemo will start, we are planning to come back to Bryan either Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning to continue to let Andy catch up at work. We are definitely enjoying our visit and have loved seeing all of the people who have come over to visit and bring us delicious food. Thank you!
