Team Awesome

That is going to be my new name for all of you since that is just exactly what you are! I had an ultrasound on my ovaries today and everything looked great so...say it with me..."Hip Hip Hooray!" I then went by Dr. Hampe's office (my breast surgeon) to have my other two drainage tubes removed and man do I feel like a new woman. All I have to say is all you girls who have complained about having "A cups" are CRAZY!!! I am really digging this little bit of cleavage- at least I still have more than Tennasyn! I am having surgery again Thursday morning at 7. I will check in at 6 and they said I should be home by noon. The surgery will take about 2 hours. They will remove the surrounding lymph nodes of the "suspicious one" and insert my chemo port or "my super hero healing device" whichever you prefer to call it. About a week later, after the final path results come back, I will meet with the oncologist to determine when my treatment will start. I will also meet with the plastic surgeon regularly to get my saline injections to inflate my tissue expanders ...aka...built in wonder bra! So, everything is again falling into place and our spirits are high...I am not high, just my spirits as I feel that God (with the help of all of you) is really taking care of me!
